The Hacienda del Mar is traditional and impressive with villa-styled buildings, courtyards, fountains and pathways carving out an exuberant garden.

The design was carefully crafted to soothe your soul and renew your senses.

Staying true to the traditional Hacienda style there lies a central building that is the focal point al Hacienda del Mar with the villas surrounding the central building. The complex has the feel of a Mexican Colonial Hacienda combined with the Mediterranean touches.

The colonial, oceanfront village offers the finest luxury accommodations and services. From the sapphire blue waters of the Sea of Cortez, Hacienda del Mar possesses all the special touches you expect from a world class resort.

Hacienda Del Mar shares grounds, services and amenities with The Sheraton Hotel. It merges the best of both, the amenities of a hotel but the conveniences of a condo with the kitchen, living and dining separate from the bedroom. One full bathrooms makes this unit comfortably able to sleep 4-6. Large jacuzzi tub makes it romantic for couples or easy and fun for bathing the kids. Each unit has a patio or balcony. The resort is filled with Palm trees, tropical plants and flowers from around the globe. There are many song birds to hear and if you keep your eyes open, there is the occasional iguana to see. A small convenience store and even laundry facilities provide the ease of home life.

Travel Dates:

Dates available to stay are Saturday to Saturday or Monday to Monday (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are not available).

Cost:

Weekly rate of $1,300 The 4.00 usd per day maid service is not included in the weekly rate, nor is any additional charges you may make to the room during your stay, such as room service. The daily maid service and any room charges you make will be charged to you by the resort when you check out.

Check in and check out time

Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am. There is a place to stow your luggage and even a waiting room with showers if you are checking in early or leaving for the airport after your check out time and need a place to hang out, change cloths or rinse off.

Parking:

Free self parking.

Transportation:

Airport is only about 20 miles away and there is a shuttle to the resort for $17 each way per person, book online or through resort ahead of time. There are shuttles, taxis and public buses from the resort into Cabo San Lucas and San Jose at reasonable rates. If you choose to rent a car I recommend that you do so before travel in order to get the best rates. If you decide to rent a car after you arrive in Baja, it is an option at the airport or even at the resort but will probably not be as good a rate what you could arrange ahead of time from home.

Families:

Great resort for singles or families. There are activities for all ages. There is a kids club and a kids pool plus kids menu options at the resort restaurants. The Kitchen makes it really convenient for everyone, especially families. There are also cribs available.

Internet access:

The resort provides 30 minutes free daily access to internet via public computers in the hotel lobby. Additional Wifi/Internet access is available through the resort for an additional fee.

Activities:

There is an activity desk and concierge that can help you book restaurant reservations, activities and transportation. There are many choices. The resort also hosts activities and there is a lovely spa. Many resorts charge extra daily resort fees or charge extra to use their gym but Hacienda Del Mar does not. If you want to use the gym, just show them your room key and you are good to go, no extra charge.

Language:

Dont speak Spanish? No problem, just about everyone working at the resort speak English and are very friendly and helpful. In general, it is pretty easy to find English speakers in Baja. At restaurants, stores and activities that serve tourism, most speak very fluent English.
